Il Tao e l’Eterno Cambiamento – (traduction from italian version)

In nature you see beautiful things because there are others that are ugly. “Good” exists because “evil” also exists.
For everything there is its opposite.

If one thing is difficult for me, it is because another is easy for me. What I see as long depends on what I see as short. What I consider high depends on what I consider low.

The before exists only because the after will come.

For this reason the Sage
does not consider situations as definitive,
he does not judge, but teaches with his attitude. If something is urgent let it come,
if something fails he lets it go.
It does not hinder but collaborates with the changes.
What he achieves, he does not consider it a definitive result, he acts but without fixing himself on a precise expectation. When something is finished it detaches itself from it.
He claims no definitive advantages,
because he knows

that everything is subject to eternal change.
