I am pleased to share a milestone in my long-standing collaboration with Italian visual artist Michele Cossyro.

The recently published volume Michele Cossyro. Nostos III (Gangemi Editore) documents the artist’s career and includes references to our collaboration, which has developed over several years through a series of site-specific musical works composed for his exhibitions.

These compositions were conceived to establish a dialogue between sound and visual art, becoming an integral part of the visitor’s experience rather than a simple musical accompaniment. They were performed on two occasions during the opening event for the artist’s exhibitions at the Chamber of Deputies and Palazzo Cavallerini Lazzaroni in Rome.

Being acknowledged in this publication is both an honour and a meaningful recognition of an artistic partnership based on the interaction between contemporary music and visual arts.
